Sales & POS Reporting Tags

This module provides separate reports for Sales and POS Analysis grouped by Product Template Tags.

Features

  • Adds "Sales by Tags" menu in Sales > Reporting.
  • Adds "Orders by Tags" menu in Point of Sale > Reporting.
  • These reports are separated from the standard analysis to ensure that the main reports remain accurate (avoiding row duplication issues inherent to M2M grouping).

Technical Details

  • Technical Name: sc_reporting_tags
  • Dependencies: sale, point_of_sale, product, pos_sale
  • New Models:
    • sale.report.tags
    • report.pos.order.tags

Note on Data Analysis

These specific "by Tags" reports explicitly duplicate sales lines for each tag a product has.

  • Total Revenue in these reports will be the sum of the revenue attributed to each tag.
  • Use these reports specifically for tag-based distribution analysis.
  • Use the standard Sales/POS reports for financial totals.
